In 2024, a comparative life cycle assessment (LCA) applied to a bamboo installation in Maringá indicated an estimated reduction of 295 tCO₂e compared to an equivalent solution in steel and aluminum. This data is impressive, but it does not stand alone: it is a comparative study of traditional material (steel), analyzing transportation, service life, waste generation, disassembly, and reuse. It is this combination of renewable raw material, treatment, design, assembly, and documentation that Tudubambusa has been working with for almost two decades. Bamboo is not merely an aesthetic trend. It is a technical and strategic material when properly specified in the project.

The Casa da Praia da Feiticeira case, in a coastal environment, is one of the most important learnings in our portfolio. It shows how species, treatment, protection against direct moisture, constructive detailing, and maintenance define the service life of bamboo over time. At InCasa, in Caldas Novas, the BOV Method (Bambu Ouro Verde) — our protocol for selection, treatment, pre-fabrication, and assembly — allowed for installation peaks of up to 85m² per day, with pre-fabricated pieces, assembly identification, and on-site dimensional control with a tolerance of 2mm. These figures came from our project reports, not from a commercial promise.
This website was organized to compile applied technical knowledge: case studies, product technical sheets, usage criteria, installation guidelines, and project learnings. The idea is to help architects, engineers, managers, and clients understand when bamboo makes sense — and what care it requires.
The foundation of everything is the right raw material: bamboo cultivated in private areas for commercial application, selected by species and maturity. And what sustains each delivery is not a seal — it is end-to-end technical responsibility: every project is issued with an ART and/or RRT by a qualified professional.
